Job Description:

To provide support to USCENTCOM Special Security Office for Security Operations in managing USCENTCOM Physical Security, Information Security, Personnel Security, Intelligence Oversight, Security Incidents, data/web base design and digitization, Sensitive Compartment Information (SCI) accreditation and the Security Education Training and Awareness (SETA) Program. Contract personnel are responsible for assisting the CCJ2-SSO in providing expert security guidance to USCENTCOM customers world-wide. Contract personnel also assist the SSO in maintaining comprehensive security oversight on behalf of USCENTCOM, DoD, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and the Defense Intelligence Agency. The contractor will provide data base, logistics and administrative support.

Applicants must be willing and able to deploy to the CENTCOM AOR if called upon to do so, including receive all appropriate vaccines required for the AOR. Place of performance is Tampa Florida, or other CONUS and OCONUS locations within the USCENTCOM AOR.

Candidate must be a U.S. citizen with an active DOD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and be able to maintain it. Candidate will be required to undergo and pass a counterintelligence scope polygraph. Bachelor or Master's degree, or, specialized training plus 4- 6 years intelligence analysis experience, or, specialized training and 4-8 years intelligence analyst experience, or equivalent intelligence/academic experience. Must be knowledgeable of databases and software programs used in the intelligence environment and the various message handling systems. Credentialed subject matter expert or recognized specialist in relevant field. Must possess excellent oral, writing, and coordination skills to communicate factual information clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, often under pressure and tight deadlines.

The contractor personnel for Physical, Information and Personnel Security Officers positions must possess comprehensive knowledge and experience to carry out security functions of the CCJ2-SSO mission requirements. Contractor personnel shall:

. Provide specialized support, expertise and products that facilitate the SSO activities and capabilities.

. Assist in the application of security policy.

. Assist in the execution and administation of the OPM's e-QIP stand alone platform for the USCENTCOM & DIA assets.

. Assist in providing input for applying security policy, procedures, techniques, equipment, and methods of a variety of work situations and various degrees or levels of security controls.

. Help maintain CCJS-SSO databases.

. Help facilitate the transfer of database records to Intelligence Community databases.

. Appropriately in/out process personnel at various command locations.

. Assist in SCIF management and accreditation including TEMPEST.

. Assist in providing support in all aspects of the command's Industrial Security Program.

Experience and Skills:

In addition to the Functional requirements of the CENTCOM TAAS TO, candidates must meet the below qualifications.

The contractor shall be a technical security expert in two or more of the following technical security disciplines and be competent in the others: Automated Information Security, Lock and Key Control Systems, Access Control Systems, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Video Surveillance Systems, TEMPEST, DoD SCIF construction standards, web-page/share-point development, SCI Security, Physical Security and Information Security.

Mid Level:

  • * Bachelor or Masters Degree with 4-6 yrs of military intelligence analysis experience or,
  • * Specialized training & 4-8 yrs intelligence analysis experience, or
  • * Equivalent intelligence/academic experience
  • * Mid Level personnel work independently with moderate government oversight. Provides comprehensive and completed products that may require multiple minor revisions and/or editing.
